Here's a movie idea which could actually make a great idea a friend and I came up with and plan to film someday:
In the case of the movie, long ago great sentient beings came to Earth and destroyed all life, this marked the end of the Dinosaurs. The Draconic then created life again, and so the world thrived teaming with many different animals who loved and respected the will of the Draconic.
A hefty price was placed upon the world, the Draconic would protect it if the world could save themselves from themselves.. At this point Humans were created as an avatar for the animals - they could transform at a moments notice from animal to human, however the evolution was temporary so that they could serve the Draconic. They left wonders in the world such as the Pyramids of Giza and South America so that the world would never forget whom they served. The Draconic were their protectors, but time passed, and all was but forgotten.
Many animals lost their way and were stuck in their Human avatars. They forgot how to speak the Draconic tongue which every animal in the world could speak, and their forgot about the Draconic beings whom created them. They grew arrogant, and at the pinnacle of the 21st century, the world had been ravaged by human arrogance and expansion. The avatars had gone out of control...
There were few Humans who retained the ability to shapeshift and speak the dragonic dialect... these Humans were guardians to the animalia world. They knew the truth of the Draconic and sought to use their transformations to aid them. These people had three forms to represent each realm of the world: Earth, Sea, and Sky. Each of these realms were represented by Fire, Ice, and Lighting respectively.
The Story takes place in 2013, three families are of the Draconic way. For generations their families have fought to preserve the animal Kingdoms they serve secretly out of the eyes of the human societies. Each of these families have a son who have known each other their entire lives, who are destined to follow within their parents footsteps.
Off the coast of Hawaii where they live, a Cardinal delivers a message to one of the families: Impending doom is coming, for the Draconic are angry and are going to unleash their wrath upon the world. The cardinal left out the fact that Draconic were displeased because of humans destroying their beautiful world with radioactivity, electronics, and pollution. They were meant to live in the wilds, and never be a fully fledged race of beings. However, the avatar they granted the Earth worked against that plan.
(The movie uses dubstep as it's main battle-score. Interesting choice, seems to work.)
Skipping a lot of yadda yadda, the three boys must save the world by defeating the three great dragons and protecting both human and animals alike. They are granted three animal forms, one for Earth, Sky, and Sea each so they may confront each Draconic. Three of them were left when the Draconic departed Earth. The Sky Dragon - master of lighting - the messenger, the Earth Dragon master of fire, the soldier, and lastly the Sea Dragon, master of Ice, the defender.
The messenger Dragon awakens these terrible beings which begin to wreak havoc upon humankind. In order to destroy these dragons, the Dracari (three boys who can shapeshift) must become stronger. The stronger they become, the larger and stronger their animal forms become. (Imagine flying in towards a dragon as a hawk, shifting into a swordfish and stabbing the beast, then transforming into a panther, climbing and clawing the beast.)
Once each dragon is defeated, they face the ultimate threat, the Watcher Dragon. He is the ultimate Dragon left behind being able to traverse freely between each realm, having Ice, Lighting, and Fire abilities. He's extremely large and beastly, and defeating him saves the world.
The animals reveal to the boys that humankind was the true reason of the Dragons awakening, and that their rage was never geared towards the animals themselves, but to the humans who forgot their ways.
Anyhow, it's mainly a story about teenagers who live a life of partying who get pulled into this ancient conflict which changes their lives forever. It'd be rated PG-13, having a lot of alcohol in the beginning, and the movie would be unique in the fact it makes use of dubstep for fighting sequences with ultra modern editing.
Just thought I put out one of my more, odder movie ideas to see what you guys think,

South in Ciro Discussions
07 May 2012 - 10:06 PM
Figured we might as well have a place to talk about SIC.
For those of you that don't know what South in Ciro is, it's a world myself, and many others literally lost a year of our lives to. The story was inspired by English history, particularly historical figures such as Oliver Cromwell and King Charles I during the English Civil War, as well as inspiration from the American Revolutionary War. The RP eventually became a world with a very detailed and rich history with short stories, and an official currency.
The RP was filled with deception, religious uproar, political upset, a grim tone, and a fulfilling (and disputed by Mythic) ending which was decided by the players' actions during the RP.
Here are maps where it all took place:
SIC had a fantastic cast of characters which drove the RP to it's dramatic and emotional ending after a year's end. The story revolves around King James II who is ill willy bent upon enforcing his will without consulting the Royal Council - a political entity set up to take power from the king, tax the people, and enforce local laws - this ultimately lead to the start of the Insurgency War (which was won in conclusion of the roleplay). Two religious factions come to play a large role within the RP as well. When Oliver Ross comes across a cipher, it changes the balance of power as both factions, as well as both religious factions vie for control over these "cipher of power" which were said to bring victory. (There is actually still much mystery regarding what the cipher actually were. The only usage of a cipher was made by a fairfolk whom was lifted into the air and given an exaggerated mystic upgrade, as well as a few other side effects. The shrine was destroyed after usage, but in the RP, Kaiser, the deity of those who are follower of Kai of the Kaifanism religion, apparently consciousness with the character momentarily.)
Ciro soon splits in half: Your loyalties either lied with the Crown (Throne Loyalists) or bent loyal to the cause (Royal Insurgents of the Royal Council). After a bloody and treacherous war, most heroes made it through the Insurgency War.
South In Ciro's history was eventually expanded much further than it's already deep history. After the RP concluded, most everyone expected some sort of sequel, which to be honest was tough. Instead of a fully fledged sequel, I created a small forum in which we could continue the RP, ala. Voyage to Dark Falarn. Here our characters sailed off to the lands of the Fairfolk. Falarn was referenced a lot, and an RP here was fitting. Unfortunately it wasn't as successful, but it did drastically help expand the lore by fleshing out ideas on magic, or mystics as they are called in SIC.
Instead of a direct sequel to South in Ciro, I poured countless hours into rewriting all of the current lore as well as expanding the previous lore by at least 3x its predecessor. Then came Judgment of Kaddon. JoK occurred in lands North East of Ciro on the continent Etheo within the Etheon Expanse. JoK certainly is the benchmark for SIC's lore, and the world the RP takes place in was eventually named Halron. This gave Ciro a deeper meaning, giving it a world to call home. JoK introduced two new races, and four new factions. It had a cameo of MacDaddy's character Falon, as the RP took place 50 years after the Insurgency War. This time, the Cult of Kaiser was in the spotlight as the antagonists. The RP went well, however it was never completed due to conflicting schedules. As of today, there is currently no official storyline planned for a direct sequel to South in Ciro II, although I have worked on a few different plots for it in the past.
Anyhow, I thought I'd make a discussion thread for people to talk about it if they wish. I'll post things about the races, events, history, all sort of things for anyone interested in learning about it.

My Mission To DOMINATE the Media
23 April 2012 - 09:25 PM
Okay, not really. I just wanted to let you guys know what I have been up to the past few months and what I intend to be doing within the next proceeding months:
It is Senior Year! Woohoo right?! Yeah, I have definitely been up to no good if there is good to be had. I have made it a point to really enjoy this portion of my life. My old schedule of neglecting my friends for some epic literature and typing frenzies (something that just drove them up the wall) could simply not go on any longer, and I even allured to it despite my attempt to beat the odds.
I miss you guys a lot. I miss the vibes, environment, debates, and zany conversations. I graduate May 11th, and I officially end High School June 1st. I intend to be active like good ol' times throughout the summer. When Fall comes and I start college, I have no idea what I will be up to (other than coursework, amateur filmmaking and gaming) but if I can, I'l be here. There's still a lot of roleplay left in me!
I just want to let you guys know, as soon as summer starts, I'll be around a lot. Miss you.

So I want to apologize to everyone who joined my LotR Roleplay. I was overly ambitious and tried to force time where I knew I did not have it.
