She can take care of herself and will/would have burned Marketta to a crisp.

Yo, guys, chill the hell out.

I gave Duri permission to try and tear Dionys away, because it's a sensible thing to do. Marketta, being a fairly nice person, is concerned with Dionys' welfare after she starts drinking from what Marketta sees as a source of water that might kill her. Given the environment (and the fact this is Wyrm), it's a reasonable thing to do. This said, Duri does go slightly too far in dragging Dionys away (after pulling her from the water); I'd recommend he edit this out (by which I mean I've told him to as I type this)--but this is still incredibly minor and I don't see any point in making a mountain out of a molehill.

To address Lyon's criticism, I would reply with the fact that the situation is not dealt with. The tentacle monster, whatever it is, wasn't dealt with at all. Dionys was pulled away and that was it. Whatever that thing is is still there and it'll affect our adventure in whatever way I GM because it's not dead or removed in any way. The situation is still emerging and Duri's post does not preclude anything except removing Dionys. I'll be posting soon, possibly tomorrow, to continue the game.

Illum, though I do understand your point is with regards to the dragging issue, you must understand that with sufficiently strict rules against 'godmodding', characters can't affect each other. What's happened here is, to me, completely within acceptable limits (save what I've asked Duri to remove). There's no need to be aggressive about it; remember, there is such a thing as 'fluid time' and you may post a reply which cuts off certain eventualities of Duri's post. I'd also like to address how you handled things here--there's no need to go about claiming that we'll burn each other's characters to a crisp.

This is an RP. I'm running it for people to have fun. So have fun and chill out. Hopefully, Duri's edit is sufficient; I will review it when he completes the task I have asked of him and I will post tomorrow upon conclusion of my mathematics exam.

In future, please ask the other player nicely to revise their post if you disagree with it. If there are problems you cannot settle, the proper next course of action is to speak with me in private. I will then take action as appropriate to remedy the problem.

Now GO POST once I'm finished. ^_^

EDIT: Duri's new post performs only one action upon Dionys, that of preventing her from drinking. I don't think there'll be much of a problem with that.

So it's been decided that, since I didn't want to bring him back after such a long absence, Tri'tas just sort of left somewhere along the way (nobody noticed because he's SO STEALTHY) and I'll be making a new character since I want to take part in this again.

Shoot a post at this thread when you're ready for Hawk's entrance.

Spec, not sure Marketta would want to swing through a coil of fire. Even more so, given that it's wrapped in a solid barrier.

I did, because of wasps. Should be minor edit for Spec. I will take care of in later post.

A note on the behemoths: they wouldn't catch on fire, having no fur to speak of and having a natural resistance to magic due to the Entity's influence. I took the liberty of editing Vith's latest post slightly, accordingly.

There is room for more, however there will be a really good "join the party" moment coming up.

That said...One of the well known facets of Pyth is that he doesn't do more for the RP than is absolutely needed. So...chances are...you'll be reading quite a bit of the RP.

Always a good idea. You might be able to get away with the last chapter or so, unless you're of the type who like to know everything that's happened in an RP.

I like to know the gist of what happened. I'll read the last two chapters.

Ok.

Also, to note, you might be waiting a week and a half for character approval. (The typical GM is out for said length).
