[Kalisiin Kumaki]

Was told no one would have a problem with me posting information about the board I have started for the discussion of commercially-released RPGs, such as Dragon Warrior/Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, Phantasy Star, and games like that.

I run such a board, and there are a number of forums already in place for many games...and, if you don't see your particular poison, I can certainly add a board.

this board is NOT for role-playing in and of itself, as this place seems to be...it is intended as a place to discuss commercially-released RPG's for Nintendo, Sega, and other platforms...and I do tend to have a much-higher interest in the old-school RPG's...or at least ones with an old-school feel, like The Dark Spire....or additional chapters in RPG's that began in the 80's, like the above mentioned DW/DQ and FF.

If anyone is interested please go to my board and sign up, and tell your friends about it, I'd like to get some discussion going.  Since Indo Tenbuki abandoned his board, I find nowhere where these games can be discussed, really.

The few places like RPGClassics or RPGForums are SO cluttered with stuff...you can't ever really find what you're looking for....or ever REALLY hope for a meaningful response to anything you might post.  I'm looking for something a little smaller, more intimate, less mainstream.

From what I see, it doesn't violate any rules, procedures, etc.

I may have missed something, but I highly doubt you've infringed anything.

Glad you joined, I sent you a note on the site.  As you can see we are a small, and not yet very active Board...I am hoping that, with some new members and some activity, it will begin to grow.

I must say, however, that you should really add one of the greatest RPG series of all time: Kingdom Hearts. Then, I would LOVE to join.

Would you categorize that as an Action RPG, like Metroid and Zelda...or a Traditional RPG (by traditional I mean menu-driven) like for example DW/DQ, FF, Phantasy Star?

Please let me know which category I should add Kingdom Hearts in, and I shall do so.

As I said, I am biased more towards the old-school stuff...and so I know my board is far from complete...which is why I say I'll add a board for any game that has some demand...as long as it IS an RPG...be it Action RPG or Traditional RPG.

Its traditional, but its a real time Rpg, like Chrono Trigger. See, you gain levels and such, so.... yeah. Also, Fire emblem, very good Rpg.

Yep, and Lyon...have you played FE12 yet? its probably one of my favorites in the series, and the translation is coming along pretty well too. According to the team, we may be able to play a fully translated FE12 (heroes of light and shadow) for ds pretty soon.
