OK...I may hang out a bit here, but I am getting the idea that this is not REALLY what I was looking for.

I am looking for a Board where I can discuss actual RPG's...by this, I mean commercially-released RPG's, like Dragon Quest, final Fantasy, Phantasy Star, Chrono Trigger, etc.

Now, I myself started up a board, but there are very few members and almost zero action.  does anyone know a good board I can check out where the main thrust is to discuss commercially-released RPG's?

EDIT: I wonder if it would be okay to share the address of the Board I am trying to build here, hopefully get a few folks over on that board...which has a different goal and object from this board....but the subject matter of my board may also be attractive to some here who are also looking for what I am looking for.

I don't think any of us would have a qualm with you posting up your board information, if you'd like to share it. I actually have yet to find a decent discussion board for commercially released RPGs (like skyrim, FF series, etc).

In that case, I will do so.  Hopefully, we could get some active members and discussion going on, it would be nice.

this seems a nice community, I am just not sure that this is what I am really looking for because I really am not very good at totally unscripted role play.

Never heard of either of these, like I said, I'm more old school...but, if you sign up on the Board and request them I will add them, no problem.

Shin Megami Tensei is for SNES, so you can't pull your old school card on that one~

Battletech, Might and Magic, Wasteland, perhaps? Those were Commodore64 games - Can't get -too- much more oldschool than that. XD
