It is a very eventful day for us staffers as one of our administrators, the great Sun Vitzu himself, Guesser of the Soul, has put in his resignation from his post, choosing instead to serve as a Global Moderator, for personal reasons.

Throughout his time as part of the staff Vithar has exhibited superior loyalty, level-headedness, intelligence, utility, advice-giving prowess and work ethic. That he has decided to continue on as staff is good news indeed.

Behind the scenes, Nowe and I argue a hell of a lot (as most of you probably know), and it has always been Vithar that, since day one, has kept the peace between my authoritarianism and Nowe's... also-authoritarianism. Without him, this site would have burned to the ground twice, many eons ago, and that he continues to act as a referee is also good news.

Vithar's successor, per the decision of Nowe and myself, is John Archer. We have known Archer for years; we trust him and know that he isn't about to blow the place up. At least not too badly. He fixes things up nicely, too. And wears science pants. So he's nice to have around. :p

I'll definitely miss Vithar in the Holy Trinity of RPGF, but life goes on!  Vithar, you shall remain forever awesome whatever happens.

He was a good admin, and I bode him well in his personal life.

Hooah!

SCIENCE PANTS! PANTS OF SCIENCE! "So tell me children, who wears the Science Pants in this family?" "Archer mommy Redcoat." "EXACTLY!"

Although I am saddened to see that Vithar is stepping down, I am glad that he put two years of fine service to our site. Your voice of reason will be missed in the admin skirmishes, Vith. :p

Hah! I may have stepped down from the lofty perch of adminship...

But I daresay I will still remain the voice of reason between Nowe and Pyth.

And, of course, I will serve just as well as a global moderator.

Of that you have my word.

If it isn't to personall a question, why are you stepping down?

Mostly because I don't want to be admin any more.

He'll be missed on the admin team, but I know for certain he'll stick around to kick our (red's and mine) asses if we need it.

Yeah. Pyth needs someone to keep him moving some times.

But yeah. Only thing that's really changed for my operations on RPGF is that of rank.

Didn't really need or want the associated power that came with it.

On one hand.. Ouch, unexpected.. But on the other hand, eh, it's only a step-down - So long as you're not leaving or anything, all if well in the RPG-F cosmos, the world keeps spinning, day is day and night is night and so on and so forth.. And I completely understand. Sometimes, it's nice to be able to just chill out, relax, and enjoy a community, without the burden of needing to take an administrative role in it. ^.^

Something like that.

I have said though, should my services be needed, I am on stand by.
