Not sure if anyone here does, but looking for someone to play MMO's with. I'm intending to get Star Wars The Old Republic come December, and I currently play LOTRO.

Never really played MMOs, and all the ones I see myself liking...aren't free. Even so, though, never got into MMOs as a whole. Not my thing. If they had a really nice singleplayer mode, though, I'd be game.

I was considering LotRO, but the download never worked for me, so that's probably not happening any time soon.

Well since it's gone F2P they made the download much easier to download. I recently re-downloaded it, and it took about 25 minutes if it's worth your time. Pretty fun, just wish I had someone to play it with.

That download doesn't work out well for me... took at least 25 minutes before it froze, and that was out of an estimated 6 hours...

Also, TEG, you should be on MSN right now. :p

A majority of MMO's I dislike, but League of Legends is actually pretty fun, it just gets kind of old after a while.  I am kind of looking forward to the Old Republic, as it looks like one of the first MMO's I might be able to completely enjoy.

The only recent MMO I played was Dungeon Fighter, which is a F2P game that is actually really fun if you have a good connection.  It's what happens when you cross an anime styled beat 'em up with MMORPG.  Again, it gets kind of old after a while, but it's still relatively fun.

When the Old Republic comes out, WE ABSOLUTELY have to play it - together. Oh boy, donning my saber next to Chef - never thought I'd see the day. >=3

I'm currently with Grand Fantasia, and I refuse to leave it. Old Republic doesn't do it for me.

Global Agenda, Neo-Steam, World of Tanks, Alliance of Valiant Arms. I will likely get Star Wars : The Old Republic.

Aye lad, as well as Alliance of Valiant Arms. STEAM's a nifty piece of software.

If anyone's looking for a neat, up-and-coming MMO that isn't either fantasy or sci-fi, then I urge that you click here for a To-be-announced MMO. Just look and see for yourself, I bet you'll like it.

I hope this isn't such a bad necro...

I'd honestly say that F2P games end up costing a whole lot more than P2P games. You really get shafted in free-to-play games if you don't waste heaps of money on a cash shop. And of course, free-to-play games have a whole lot less moderation and more bugs that stay unfixed for ages. The whole F2P model functions on making all the games disposable. Of course pay-to-play games would look more desirable, because they're made to be that way. I'm mostly just a free-to-play gamer and I accept them for their flaws. I'd play a pay-to-play game, but none have really gauged my interest enough.
At the moment I guess I play Prius and Mabinogi. I did play Flyff a lot at one point but I don't really play it anymore (but I guess I would if I had enough motivation). I do want to try The Secret World when it comes out though.

I have really slowed my pace on, but still do play Grand Fantasia. I still find it enjoyable, but I have no time with all of my schoolwork intervening.
