Friends! RPGFers! Countrymen!
I return to thee after a long journey. A journey fraught with... well, actually, fraught with really awesome stuff. As I write this, I'm really, really happy about how my life's been over the last couple weeks, and I'm even more ecstatic to finally be back here again.
First, though, a word on my account. No, I am not stepping down as administrator (I can hear the despair already
)--what happened was that my password, I thought, might have been compromised when I lost a USB drive at school. It turns out that I didn't put my RPGF pass on there (there were games passes and stuff on it), but I contacted Nowe to deadmin this account just to be sure, and changed my pass for good measure, so the security problem is dealt with and I should be reinstated soon. I hope.As some of you know, I moved, which was an arduous affair that exposed my family's incredible proclivity for collecting useless bullshit. That took a long time, and we're still not done unpacking, so my internet was just reinstated about thirty minutes before I started writing this. But regardless, I'm back and, though you can expect to see me less, do expect to see me.
I've started studies at the University of Alberta and I love it beyond belief. Currently in four courses (Calculus, History, English, Sociology), enjoying all of them, though concerned about the left-wing bias present in my sociology course. Joined a Sci-Fi/Fantasy Club on campus, too. And I'm still wearing my pocket protector. So my nerdiness has not been lost in the move at all.
There's other stuff, but I'll mention it as it comes to mind. I hope to get back into the groove soon!
