Cracked it.

Surely there's no way anyone will never be able to decode this. It's absolutely foolproof. In fact, I might use this as a language for some ancient people or something -- It's cheap, but has lots of very similitude and is readily usable. I can also get away with an English alphabet. I'd have to look at new sounds for letters and such, though, or else it'd be extremely difficult to speak, unless the aliens (or whoever) had a different vocal structure.

Anyway, I promised something profound when you finished this post, didn't I? So here it is: Have a nice day. Don't grow up, don't stop having fun, and reply to this post with a much more difficult cipher.

Also, suck RPGF's lack of wingdings. I was going to troll with it.

Cracked.

"Good luck figuring this out. If you somehow did, I Pig Latinized every word, flipped them backwards, and replaced every vowel with an I.

However, this lacks anything meaningful."

Okay. Just developed a new cipher just now. I'd say, a fair bit harder than the first one, but, still entirely do-able, and in a similar nature to it.

Clue: Know your unicode character assignments.

Edit: Let me know if you think it's too hard. It might be, but, thought I'd give it a shot.

Edit 2: Broke formatting, which isn't a nice thing to do. Also, figured that without any spaces, it would be too hard. So I've modified my cipher as so that spaces are left untouched (thus making it both easier to do and not breaking formatting).

Edit 3: There's a little tiny "" character in my cipher. That's not supposed to be there, at all. It looks like a incorrectly rendered character, but after spotting it, I double-checked it against the correct cipher and there's actually not supposed to be anything in place of that character, so just remove it and pretend it isn't there. Tried editing it out in this post but it won't disappear.

Edit 4: And when I posted Edit 3, it disappeared. Whatever.

Clues:

My cipher is based on the same idea behind Red's cipher (Red's cipher was ROT13, which encodes and decodes in the same manner, and is based on Caesar style ciphers - Though, admittedly, I didn't realise this until -after- I'd decoded it, which is kind of weird.. I just saw it, noticed a few patterns, thought it was pattern based at first and just decoded it character at a time using notepad.. But I'm weird like that.. <.<)

It's essentially the same. However, my cipher is based on a different conversation table - Whereas ROT13 is based on the alphabet, mine is based on the wider unicode table.

I've also added table position shifting.

That's about as cluey as I could get without giving the whole thing away, lol. We'll see how long this takes.

Has been nearly 24 hours, and no one has succeeded at cracking my cipher. Thus, in the spirit of keeping this thing interesting, I'll reveal what my cipher was:

WE THE PEOPLES OF THE UNITED NATIONS DETERMINED

To save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind, and to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small, and to establish conditions under which justice and respect for the obligations arising from treaties and other sources of international law can be maintained, and to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom, AND FOR THESE ENDS, to practice tolerance and live together in peace with one another as good neighbours, and to unite our strength to maintain international peace and security, and to ensure, by the acceptance of principles and the institution of methods, that armed force shall not be used, save in the common interest, and to employ international machinery for the promotion of the economic and social advancement of all peoples, HAVE RESOLVED TO COMBINE OUR EFFORTS TO ACCOMPLISH THESE AIMS, Accordingly, our respective Governments, through representatives assembled in the cit‚ of San Francisco, who have ehibited their full powers found to be in good and due form, have agreed to the present Charter of the United Nations and do hereb‚ establish an international organization to be known as the United Nations.

(( For those of you that are interested, that's the opening preamble to the United Nations charter. ))

I'll encode something else using the exact same cipher. You guys can use my first one as a clue to working out the second.

If it's too hard to crack, or even if you just feel like it, post some of your own so that we can keep this thing going. XD
