Viva la revolution!

It is here, welcome to IPB 3.2 everyone! In part, the move from 3.1.4 to 3.2 was quick, "relatively" easy, and as expected done somewhat right. There were a few minor problems that were all solved. As an upgrade, please do note that all skins from 3.1.4 are no longer in use, because they are not compatible with 3.2.0. Being that as it may, Atticus and I will be working quickly on new skins to fit with 3.2, as a previous preview allowed many to see the upgrade to our skins and site content. We hope that you will be patient with us, as this is merely a time of transfer and change, so please bear with us.

Friends! RPGFers! Countrymen! Site...persons!

You may currently be agape in horror at recent post count changes. Though I would use this administrative post as a reminder to our valued members that post count is not, in fact, all that important, and that if you're actually and genuinely worried about it that you should probably get an account with the state of the art MMO "Outside", myself and the other admins feel we should explain changes like this to prevent mass panic. But I know you guys, right? Stay calm and carry on!

We just deleted the forum "Saggitarius A*", which being named after a black hole was the former trash can forum for RPGF pre-upgrade. It had lots of posts in it. Mostly doubles, repeats, spam, bots, spambots, crap, and assorted other things nobody cares about. So we killed it. All of it. With fire. Quite satisfying. Anyway, it turns out that since we saved everything, that formed a lot of the site's posts. Rather embarrassing; perhaps some of you might link this to Sturgeon's Law. But we wouldn't want that, would we!? So to destroy the threat to our over-inflated administrative egos, we purged it all. Then, to be accurate, since that's what you pay us for (... I am getting paid for this, right?), we recounted post-counts. The results may be somewhat underwhelming.

So that's what happened. Have fun staring at smaller numbers. If, for some arcane reason, you have concerns related to this, get in touch with an admin. We'll tell you to go the hell outside. Or I suppose you could post more! You should RP. That's always good.

You do realize that SagA had all of the former RPs in it, which probably contributed more to postcount than trash did...
